Me!

Greetings, bloggers! My name is Tessa, age 21, obsessed with cupcakes, and a University of Tampa student for a full two semesters.

I began my college years at NYU, originally on a medical track, eventually finding my way to speech pathology. After pulling all-nighters to study, and still getting dismal grades on my exams, I realized Speech Pathology wasn’t for me. Over the course of two other majors, in two semester at NYU, I enrolled into a Survey of Advertising Ccass. It was a perfect fit. I understood it, it was interesting, and best of all, no all-nighters with boring medical terms! Though I had finally found my niche, I decided to transfer out of NYU. Someone as finicky as me probably shouldn’t be spending $60,000 a year on college. I moved back home, adopted a dog, found a little house, and have been enjoying my Advertising career path ever since.

I decided on a graphic design track as I have always been interested in art, but never knew how to work it into a career. I’ve interned at Coloangelo as a runner in their Art department, and am currently head of Advertising and Marketing for Sports 4 Girls, a local dance store where I’m also a shopgirl. I’m very excited about having a better understanding of the digital arts programs, and look forward to seeing where this semester at UT brings me!
